Wow, what a find! Just as the VS project Issue #13 is underway, I found some great inspiration to share. One day just browsing websites for some visual eye-candy aka eye catching posts, designs or writing! I stumbled upon this very interesting post on Inspired Mag, “10 Cool Non-Design Blogs You Should Check for Daily Inspiration” & one site in particular jumped out at me!!

Cardon Copy
This interesting visual site is the concept of Cardon Webb. The catchy name Cardon Copy made me think the site was spelled incorrectly, but upon inspection I was totally wrong. Cardon Copy is kind of what you may think is would be, but totally not what you think is it. At first I thought it was just coping famous posters, but I realized it is a response to the Designers environment. While seeing all of the “SELF-DISTRIBUTED FLIERS AND TEAR-OFFS” in his neighborhood in Queens, New York … It seems that Cardon decided to take these flyers down, reDesign them and then rePost them back where he found them. Very Interesting!!!

Like I said, finding this during the time the VS project Issue #13 had been announced was strictly a coincidence. The lucky #13 Issue of the VS project is just that, reDesign your local Take out menu. It challenge you to take a pre-existing design and make it better!

Check out more of Cardon Copy and be inspired! Do something different!!
