Inspiration, it is one of the main focuses of this site. It is all around us, it is all over the internet, it is part of our everyday life. For this Installment of Twewsday, I will be diving in to topic of inspiration on the internet. Inspiration is that spark, light bulb, itch, idea.. whatever else you want to call it. It’s the thing that keep us creating and keeps us yearning to stay up to date on our skills, technology and careers. Where do we find it? why do we need it and how to keep it coming. You will find some links and site that have surfaced lately on twitter about design and visual inspiration.

33 New Places to Get Design Inspiration

Freelance Switch has a post that does a great job of listing 33 of the top sites where creatives look for inspiration. So of them include PSDTuts, You the Designer, Smashing Mag, Fuel your Creativity, Behance & Abduzeedo.
These are great starting points get your creative juices flowing in the morning, almost better than coffee! (just playing)

Thirty Conversations on Design.

Designers Like Ellen Lupton, Massimo Vignelli & Paula Scher are just 3 of the 30 Creatives asked to take part in “Thirty Conversations on Design.” a video series that answers questions on design. I look to these master in their fields with great respect and am always eager to hear what make them tick! You can find great inspiration in the nuances of these candid videos. The passion behind the words or the excitement and concern about the future. When you get a chance sit down and enjoy.

FLICKR AND ffffound…

Sometime you just need that quick visual, some eye candy to give you that spark. 2 great places online that I have come across is Flickr, It has so many user groups that share visual inspiration and of course ffffound, it allow it’s users to post interesting and inspiring images that they have ffffound on the web.

Inspiration all around us, not only found on the web, stay tuned to other place to find creative inspiration.

I know that it has been a while since the last Twewsday post. I have been focusing on New ideas, Slight reDesigns of the Issues section of this Blog & working on the latest issues of of the VS Project. Yes, I have been busy. This Twewsday article will focus on keeping your self motivated, setting prices and feed the need for information as a designer. There are so many great links and articles that one can find on the web, especially on twitter. I think some time I have been giving too much similar information. But this week I will keep it focused.

As designer we all need resources to help us along, maybe not all of the time, but it is nice to find help. Some really good posts have come across my twitter home page, so i need to pass them along.
