VS LIVE #3 Champion: Congrats to Kenly Dillard who battled hard and came up on top! And also to all the hard work the other artists put into their work. You ALL made this event possible.

Its Official! The 3rd VS LIVE event is in the books!

We asked artists from the New York area to compete in this collaboration between Section 8 Comics and UKRE8.VS – The Battle for “The Mark!” gave a rare opportunity to four very talented artists. The winner of this latest VS Live would be commissioned to draw the cover of Section 8‘s latest creation “The Mark!” Each artist had their own unique styles and it was a real honor to have them compete, network and be part of our growing UKRE8 community.

Prizes:
• Each artist won 10 copies of the upcoming The Mark! book.
• 2nd & 3rd Place, won monetary prizes.
• 1st Place, won a weekend pass to NY Comic Con as well as the commission to draw the cover art for the book.

Another success! The 2nd VS Live event was an epic competition between 4 very talented artist with very different styles! Nikki, Paigey, Emilio & Khary ALL battled valiantly, but only one will become the victor.

The theme was New York City and the audience made then include a taxi in their piece (something they weren’t expecting). Photo from the event are sure to come and the Official video of the event will be post as soon as we can…

There was a winner from the event, but your vote can still determine the out come!

Hello All our Creatives, Friends & Fans!

Its that time again, The Ukre8 Community brings you the next installment of The VS Project LIVE!

Saturday May 8th @ LOCAL 269, NYC

In January we had 2 artists compete in a Japanese Art style.

This time we are mixing it up! We will have four artists in this creative challenge & We are using a bracket system to determine this events’ champion! The audience will be more involved and help with deciding the direction of our theme.
