A post on Graphic Design Blog showcases logos that show movement. While it displays a decent set of logos, a number of them break from the foundational principles of logo design — most notably, reproducibility in black and white and halftones. While design may be moving towards the digital arena at an accelerated pace especially with mobile interfaces, logo designers should not dismiss print media yet. Some of the logos featured wouldn’t print very well in black and white or halftones.

Hey Thanks Arnold for the great post! Logos should never be design with color in mind. Proper logo design should be a function of black and White. Color should only come into the mix once logo has been established. These design rely on color so much that they blend. Never a good option for your brand!
