Are you a Note take or a Note Sketcher?
I came across a very interesting post today. While taking a looking for some Type Inspiration I came across this post, “Every Typography Lover’s Tool Shed of Resources” found here…

I scrolled down just to briefly browse the various options that Brain Hoff put together, but one link stuck out to me! I saw these sketches in a moleskin sketchbook of thoughts, ideas and images that were well organized, interesting, clear and concise. I went to the link and a great slide show on Flickr appeared. They were scanned pages from Mike Rohde, he called them SketchNotes, basically note taking and thoughts in real-time.
But these are more than just notes, they are well thought out ideas and compositions done in the spur-of-the-moment. Look below at the slide show…
I just thought I would share and give designers some insight on how interesting the mundane note taking can be if put in the proper hands.
Also another good article about Visual Thinking!
